I have three horizontal "rolls" at the top of both of my thighs. These rolls just occurred in the last few months. They run horizontal and both legs have three in the same spot on my upper thigh. They feel hard, which makes me think they are not far rolls. I also don't have them on the back side of my thighs. I am a rather active person and I am in good shape. I have no idea what these rolls/lumps are, how they appeared on my thighs, or how to get rid of them.
