Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy After Deep Plane Facelift - Worth it?

Hi there, I am a 47 yo, healthy, non-smoker who plans to have a deep plane facelift. I've had one consult where it was strongly recommended that I undergo hyperbaric oxygen therapy after surgery for improved healing. Has anyone seen proven results with this?If yes, is the healing just at a more superficial level ie swelling /bruising? Would I be able to get back to exercise etc quicker as well? If it only speeds healing, I am inclined to let my body go through the natural healing process.
