Can you get Kybella if you have fillers?

Hi Alisha, thanks for your question! Yes, Kybella can definitely be done after getting fillers placed in your chin. Kybella is made of deoxycholic acid, which permanently dissolves fat cell membranes.  Kybella will give you a more contoured and sculpted chin and will compliment the fillers that were placed in your chin.  You may need more than one treatment of kybella for full results. Be sure to familiarize yourself with what to expect from Kybella before you choose this treatment -- it can take a few weeks for your results to settle in. You will also experience some initial swelling from Kybella that may cause you to feel puffy, which can be disheartening after you have already had fillers to help sculpt the area -- rest assured that this will subside soon. Kybella and fillers can certainly compliment each other to achieve desired results.  Contouring would be from filler to enhance volume in areas of loss and Kybella for removal of chin fat.  Expect and be prepared for swelling of your chin and neck area for some days afterward especially with the initial treatment.  A few treatments are usually required for best results.  The filler will not be removed by Kybella.

Ues you can have Kybella after getting fillers. The Kybella is for fat under your chin, the filler is for loss of volume in your chin. 

Hi alisha2323,Kybella when injected into the submental area dissolves only the fat. It does not travel to the chin area so no fears about inadvertently removing the filler. If your mandible is enlarged, you may want a little more contouring by injecting Botox.All the best,Justin Harper, M.D.
