Is it OK to drink alcohol 4 weeks post BA?

At 4 weeks post operative you should be able to resume drinking alcoholic beverages. I recommend my patients refrain for two weeks post operative. Regards, 

Good question. As long as you are not taking narcotics, it's okay to be drinking alcohol at this point.

Thank you for your question. In most cases it is okay to return to drinking alcohol 4 weeks after a breast augmentation.

Generally, in my practice, I advise my patients to wait a minimum of 2 weeks before resuming alcoholic beverages.  That is assuming that healing is going well and the patient is not taking any medications.It is always best to check with the surgeon who did your procedure and see what his/her advice is.

At this point it should be OK to drink alcohol sensibly, but you should always check with your surgeon regarding any postop inquiries. Good luck!

Drinking alcohol one month after breast augmentation is fine. I allow my patients to begin consuming alcohol after they are finished taking any narcotic medications after their breast augmentation.  Mixing narcotics and alcohol is never a good idea.
