I got my procedure yeserday morning. He ended up doing 240ccs saline moderate profile. I want to look so bad but I'm all wrapped up and I don't think I'm allowed to look. I wanted to be a full b small c (but for sure a full b) I hope that I get that from 240cc. I started with 32A I have a very small chest 13" across my ribs and 26" around my ribcage which has me thinking 240cc will be enough for my narrow frame. I really want them to drop. (Do they usually feel bigger when they drop or feel/look smaller?)
Answer: Size of Breast Implant It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal breast image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your breast will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. To illustrate; a 100 cc difference may make a significant difference with a narrow base width breast, but much less of a difference if you have a wide chest wall and wide breast “foot print”. Therefore, just because your friend may have a great result with let’s say a 350 cc implant to make her go from a “A” cup to a “C” cup size does not mean that you will have the same result with the same size implant. . Further simply placing implants in a bra to determine the size best for you is not always accurate as the bra often distorts the size, is dependent on the pressure the bra places plus the implant is outside your breast and not under it among other variables. Computer software morphing programs that automatically determine the best implant size can be helpful in some but not all cases (e.g. doesn’t work well in my experience with existing implants, sagging or asymmetric breasts). Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon.#breastaugmentation#findingtherightsize#BA

Answer: With a 240cc implants, how many cup sizes do you think I will increase? I could not agree more with Dr. Feldman's response to your question. Often times patients get so wrapped up in cup size and volume of the implant. The most important thing is that you are measured correctly and that you are offered the correct options for implants. For me with my patients it is all about me gleaning from them what look they are going for. I never ever promise a cup size because of the variability of bras. Choosing implants are like buying shoes. Two things are important, shoe size and the style or profile of the shoe. You know your food size right. So you would never buy shoes larger or smaller. Same holds true for implants. Your base diameter measurement is like your shoe size for the breast. You should have implants that fit the diameter of your breast. Not more than a half centimeter larger or smaller. Next up, when you buys shoes you buy flats, wedges or high heals. Well, implants come in low profile, moderate profile and high profile. Same as shoes. What you have to decide is which one of those profile implants that are the same as your base diameter give you the look you are going for. Does that make sense? So you should be handed a bucket of implants to try on that are all the base diameter of your breast within a half centimeter but they can be low, moderate and high profile implants. All fit your breast but give a very different look. Low profile are very modest with little projection, high profile are very rounded and give the most projection. Which look do you want? Once you decide that it is really easy. You have to trust that your surgeon will deliver the vision you have described.

Answer: Size after breast augmentation Thank you for the question. It is difficult to tell your resulting breast size just from the one view of preop photo. It I have to guess, I would say about mid C size. Congratulations on your surgery.

Answer: Cup size increase with 240cc Your cup size will increase by one size approximately; I usually tell my patients that 300cc will give you an increase of one size and a little bit. Please see link below for breast augmentation examples.
