.4 injected in chin for shape & length & another .4 injected under lip to help fill in low area between bottom lip and chin. 24hrs post - is it normal for chin to swell a lot and feel hard & for smile to be constricted due to filler swelling and not yet softening? Chin is too big for me at the moment but don’t want to freak out if it is normal for chin to experience a good amount of swelling and hardness.

Answer: Chin swelling after filler Fillers invariably take time to settle; up to two weeks but normally less. Swelling, stiffness, bruising, pain, tenderness and weird feelings may all occur for 24-48 hours. Trauma can increase the duration of recovery, bruising will also prolong the recovery period. So basically the advice is wait for a bit longer, don;t panic and look forwrd to the g=ood results which will arrive.

Answer: Post injection swelling you really must wait longer before judging your final results. Everyone responds differently to different fillers. some swell a little some a lot. some swelling i s gone in a few hours other may take several days. I think your chin looks very good. it is likely that by the time you read this all will be fine. Good luck!
