Too much bruising? (Photo)

Congratulations on having a breast augmentation.  It appears your plastic surgeon did an excellent job.Some post operative bruising, usually at the bottom of the breast, is absolutely and completely normal.  In my opinion, your bruising is minimal and should resolve in the next 2-3 weeks.  Since you have no scar on the bottom of your breast and no apparent scar around the areola, I am going to assume that your breast augmentation was transaxillary.  As such, any blood in the implant pocket tends to collect at the bottom of the breast.  It takes awhile to get to the skin surface, and usually takes longer to resolve than bruising on the non-breast skin.  If you are concerned, I highly recommend you speak to your personal plastic surgeon.

Some amount of bruising after your breast augmentation is absolutely normal.  That being said, you have enough that I would recommend a call and possible in person visit with your surgeon to make sure that all is well.  Good luck!

Thank you for your question and photograph.  Bruising at 3 days post op breast augmentation is normal.  My advice is to avoid asprin and ibuprophen products. Best of luck.

Thank you for your question and photo's, it is normal to have bruising after a breast augmentation , you can discuss your concern with your PS at your one week post op visit. 

Some bruising after surgery s normal, however since you feel concerned I recommend that you follow up with your plastic surgeon soon to feel more comfortable about the situation. Best of luck!
