Question

Hello, I'm 31 and noticing my face is changing. Mostly my big cheeks are starting to sag. I'm also concerned with my under eye wrinkles. Everyone says they can't tell so idk if I'm being dramatic. I really don't want filler. Mini lifts are popular so I wonder if I'm a good candidate and what surgery is best for under eyes and if I'm a candidate for that too. Should I wait for surgery and focus on skin care? Thank you!

There are no signs of aging that will require surgical intervention like face lift. However, your skin needs urgent treatment by a dermatologyst. Lower eyelids show some signs, very difficult to define due to limitted photos, which Amy also require attention. Hope this helps.

You are too young for a facelift to be worthwhile. The eyelids tend to age the earliest and you may be a candidate for that but I can’t see your eyes in your photo

The best way to do things is to do them right and in the right time.  I personally love to perform surgery, but you aren't a candidate for any kind of facelift procedure.  Diet, lifestyle, a healthy sleep pattern , and exercise would be the best approach.  Some consideration could be given to a buccal fat pad removal but secondary to the what is mentioned above.

I do think you’re a little early for a facelift. The earliest signs of facial aging are due to volume loss. Therefore, I would suggest talking to someone about filler or even fat grafting. I think fillers are a wonderful Segway, which can last you for a decade or so until you really need a lift. If the idea of a filler bothers you, there are board-certified plastic surgeons, who can help you understand the use of fat For the same purpose.

If a face lift is probably not what you need.
Weight loss may help. Treatment of lower eyelid midface transition can be trick and in the end is probably best done with fillers if you can find the right provider
