Although 10 days may seem like a long time, it will take 3-12 weeks for the canthoplasty to relax. After 3-4 weeks, your surgeon may ask you to start massaging the area to help "loosen" it up, but you should check with him/her first. It will actually go through a tightening phase (first 6 weeks), before it loosens up!
Cindy8585 Thank you for the question. A photograph would be helpful but ultimately an in person consultation would be best. That stated, while most canthoplasties can look "normal" immediately ; it can take several weeks, months or even up to a year to adjust. The inside scar of canthoplasty can take up to 6 weeks to tighten , then relaxation phase starts !!. Some patients start relaxing the scar after two weeks. You need to be a little more patient.

It appears from your pictures that you can see white (AKA sclera) below your pupil. You would need a physical examination to confirm that this is the normal resting position of your lower eyelid. If this is the case, and you have good lower eyelid tone, you maybe a candidate for an Endoscopic c...
This early in the healing process you will certainly have scar tissue that masks your result. This is a part of recovery and is to be expected at this point after a blepharoplasty. Be patient with your recovery and give your body time to heal. Be sure to keep any follow ups you may have with y...
