I’m 1.5 months post op. My implants have dropped quite a bit with my left being slightly higher the entire process. I recently noticed a line/dent when I flex that side. Also, would I expect much change in shape still? I think I have snoopy breast? Lower tissue hangs down or whichever way I bend. It’s not horrible but not my expected outcome. I had no upper pole volume after breastfeeding. Size 36/6 deflated. Had 371 ccs round silicone. Should I have gone bigger? Lift? Thanks
Answer: BA results Dear teeleelee, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Answer: 1.5 months post-op. Was told I was borderline and didn’t need a lift. Do I? Also, do I have flex deformity? Thank you for sharing your excellent question and photographs. At only 6 weeks after surgery you should see continued maturation of your results for the next several months. Tissue swelling is still maintaining your implants in an elevated position and you should see gradual redistribution of the silicone into the lower portion of your breasts to achieve an improved lower pole, with less of a snoopy deformity. Hang in there and allow your results at least 6 months to mature, you will have a better idea of final results at that time. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast Aug Results Thank you for your question. You are still early in the healing process. Keep in mind it is not uncommon to have swelling. Breasts may not heal at the same rate, causing one breast to appear different than the other. It can take up to 12 weeks for the implants to settle and you to see the final result. Follow up with your board certified surgeon to address your concern. Good luck!

Answer: Deformity after breast augentation It appears from the photos and description that the implants are under the muscle. This leads to Dynamic Breast Deformity (DBD): the muscle contracts and the underlying implant shifts position. In addition to this it is likely that if the implants are under the muscle they will remain in relatively high position over time while your breasts will eventually droop with age and gravity. This separation of volumes is called double bubble contour and may need to be revised surgically. For these reasons it is increasingly unpopular to place breast implants under the muscle.
