I wonder how big a cup size I would be with either 650 or 750 cc implants? My natural size is probably no bigger than a B cup. I look like I have no boobs. More like man boobs. I am upset that my breasts never got any bigger with hormone use. My doctor suggested either 650 to 750 cc breast implants based on my 44 inch chest measurement. I am very upset that my boobs are so small.
Answer: Larger implants It would only be possible if your current body dimensions can accommodate this size safely. However, the larger the implant, the higher the risk of developing complications, like distortion, incision separation and most notably, stretchmarks. You may want to seriously consider getting an implant size that is too big for your body. The majority of my patients are most satisfied when they choose an implant that achieves proportionate results, rather than something that’s too big (or too small).

Answer: Avoid large implants 650 or 750 cc implants weigh over 1 ½ lbs each. It may be possible to place them but they may not be stable and they will descend inferiorly and laterally causing complications such as double bubble or bottoming out. I strongly recommend smaller implants with possibly a lift. Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Is it possible to place 750cc implants in a single setting? Thank you for sharing your excellent question. For the majority of patients placement of a 750cc implant is not advised, nor possible, based on their anatomy. There are some patients who have a wide chest, or loose skin, that may be able to accomodate this size implant, but they are few and far between. Hope this helps.

Answer: Is it possible to surgically implant 750 cc breast implants on the first surgery? Thank you for the thoughtful question. There are many variables that come into play when determining the specific aesthetic outcome achieved with breast augmentation surgery. The patient's starting point, for example will determine to a great degree what can be achieved but surgical maneuvers can also play a significant role. Exactly how/where the breast implant "pocket" is dissected and which breast implant size/profile is selected may play a big role when it comes to final aesthetic outcome achieved. Generally speaking, every patient undergoing breast augmentation surgery should understand that their anatomic starting point will limit the outcome of breast augmentation surgery. In other words, a patient's starting anatomy will limit how large of a breast implant can be utilized safely. The use of a larger breast implant (than what is safely "allowed" by the patient's anatomy) can be problematic; potential problems include breast implant displacement/malpostion issues ( such as bottoming out, lateral displacement, symmastia...) and/or significant breast implant rippling/palpability. My best suggestion: select your plastic surgeon carefully. Make sure that he/she is a board-certified plastic surgeon who can demonstrate significant experience achieving the types of outcomes you would be pleased with. Then, communicate your goals carefully as well. The use of goal photographs and computer image may be very helpful during the communication process. After doing so, your plastic surgeon will be able to tell you whether or not the desired outcome is realistic, given your specific anatomic starting point. Best wishes.
