Hello I just got a chemical peel and my face is purging.I want to get rid of this purging face.Can i use aloe vera gel? I have a acne prone skin.

I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for chemical peel after care. I recommend lasers, microneedling/prp and skin care. Sun protection is essential. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for your question. Know that experiencing some breakouts immediately after your chemical peel is a normal side effect, and if you’ll be going in for multiple treatments, these should clear up after the next one or two sessions. In the meantime, aloe is often used to help soothe and lightly hydrate your skin while it heals. I would check in with your plastic surgeon’s office, though, before starting any new skin care regimen immediately after your peel. Hope this helps!
