Can I use dr gross daily peels a week after laser?

Question

I am not sure exactly you call what I had done.i thought the dermatologist was just doing needling but I had to wear glasses so a laser had to be involved on the scar on my nose. A week later I have been using these peels. Will this harm the healing g if what I just had done?

Not knowing exactly what was done, it is hard say for certain but I think if your skin felt healed enough to begin using the peels again and did not react in any negative way, then there is no problem. In my practice, I usually have patients wait about a week to 10 days after more invasive laser that requires exterior healing (such as laser to treat brown spots or Sublative) but for other lasers without downtime, such as 3D, I tell patients they can restart peels as soon as the following day. The answer to the question is really a more personal one - if you skin looks and feels up to doing the peels then go for it; if you feel that it's not back to normal yet then give it a break for a week or two before restarting.

It is difficult to advise you since you don't know what kind of procedure you had done. Usually I do not advise the patient use any type of peels or scrubs until the skin is fully healed. A week later may be a bit soon if it was an aggressive treatment . I suggest that you call your physician and ask what would be appropriate skin care for  you.
