First time chemical peel user. I have sensitive skin usually but this produced no redness or results? Should I try it again?

Last night I did my first ever chemical peel. I used Ole Hendrikson power peel. I didn't get red, feel any tingling or discomfort and my face looks and feels exactly the same. I thought I had sensitive skin and was worried, but not a single thing happened. Could I try it again today and see if there is any result?

Thank you for your question. The most effective approach would be to have a chemical peel from a board certified facial plastic surgeon. The peel will leave the skin looking smoother and younger because it takes off the damaged layers of skin. It is one of the easiest ways to improve the appearance of the skin. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.

For liability reasons most "over the counter" peels are very low concentration to avoid injury.  The more concentrated the peeling substance (usually an acid) the deeper the peel and the more effect it has.  I suggest if you are looking for results, with safety, that you consult your Dermatologist or other Aesthetic physician to have the treatment which will be administered with the desired result and your safety in mind.
