I am 28yo and recently really got into taking care of my skin for fine lines and wrinkles. I have used neutrogena deep wrinkle serum, neutrogena rapid wrinkle, in the process of exuviance chemical peel (half way through). With all of this, I have really not noticed any results and wondering if I may be missing a better product. I was my face daily with acne cleanser and my clarisonic and I would hope to have seen some type of results...maybe it is just me or keep going with what I am doing/
Answer: Venus Viva RF paired with a chemical peel can help tighten the skin and reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve the visibility of the scars so that they are no longer visible in ambient light. Everyone has a unique pattern of scarring and we employ our HIDEF technique to improve texture, color, contour, and topography. We often use a combination of treatments that begin with a careful examination to examine the micro texturing of the acne scars. Atrophic scars and indented scars can benefit from injectable fillers such as Radiesse, Sculptra, and Restylane with or without subcision to remove tethered scars and atrophic depression. Hyper-redness in scars can be improved with V beam laser, Excel V, BBL, IPL, and Venus RF to improve the redness and reduce the visibility of deep scars. Fractional Thulium laser and clear & brilliant can also reduce the inflammation and redness of the scar when combined with topical therapy. Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. Above all, our combination approach with our clinical nurses and board-certified plastic surgeons can improve the quality of your skin by using at home Melarase creams combined with PRP treatments in our office to improve your skin quality and tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced team of experts in order to reduce your scarring. Finally, hyperpigmentation of scars can be improved with at-home Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads to help reduce active PIH and melanin deposition. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Options for stubborn forehead wrinkles Botox or Dysport can certainly soften stubborn forehead wrinkles. However, I think a first good step would be to see a plastic surgeon along with his/her aesthetician. Most plastic surgeons have an aethetician with a skin care practice incorporated into their practice. So it's best to have a full evaluation by a plastic surgeon and his/her aesthetician before making a decision or treatment plan.

Answer: Forehead wrinkles Dear hurky12: The best treatment for this problem depends upon the cause of the wrinkles. You may be lifting your brows strongly with your frontalis muscle, in which case the best treatment would be a small amount of Botox to relax this muscle. If they are present even at rest, they can be smoothed over with a number of different approaches, including Pellevé or another radiofrequency device, Ultherapy, or microneedling with PRP. Chemical peels can help but probably not as much as the other modalities.

Answer: Forehead Wrinkles and Best Treatment It sounds like you are using excellent skin care and are on the right track. However, some wrinkles need to be treated with other preventative or treatment modalities. Chemical peels work very well on the texture and fine lines of the skin and improve tone, texture, and pigmentation. However, the forehead lines are dynamic - which means that they are constantly moving. That is why Botox is the number one treatment for lines involving the forehead and glabella area. I would consider Botox, chemical peels, and Fraxel and microneedling for your skin. It would be best to consult a dermatologist who is an expert in all of these procedures to best guide you. Best, Dr. Green
