I’m 5’6”, currently 180 pounds. I’ve lost 36 pounds from my heaviest weight slowly over just under a year. I’d like to ideally be around 165 pounds prior to my surgery. I want a BBL with high projection and round buttocks. Will I be able to achieve this look (see my photos and my goal photos)

Answer: 5'6, 180lbs - will I be able to get the results I’m looking for? Hello @calmas, thank you for your question. It is important to develop a surgical plan that fits your possibilities, to fulfill your wishes for improvement and to take into account what can actually be achieved. Is best if consult one or several board certified plastic surgeon for more information and recommendations. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.

Answer: Wish picture Your results will not look anything like your wish pictures. Your body is inherently completely different from those women in terms of muscular skeletal structure which is the primary structure that determines our body contour. even with aggressive fat manipulation you must your skeletal waste is not that small and and those results will not be possible. Weight loss patients tend to have skin laxity that lessons there candidacy for both Liposuction and fat transfer to some degree. If you’ve had previous pregnancies then that also typically lessens the candidacy because most patients with pregnancy related changes do better with a tummy tuck. I suggest looking for honest and real before and after pictures of patients who have similar body characteristics to your own. That will give you a better idea of what can or cannot be achieved. To get a quality assessment and better understanding of what the procedure can and cannot accomplish I suggest having a few in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons.
