I'm currently on my 1st month on accutane and would like to know if it's possible to get a Thermiva touch up
Answer: THERMIVA AND ACCUTANE There is no problem doing radiofrequency treatments intravaginally while on Accutane. I would not do radiofrequency on your face however while on that medication. You are safe to get ThermiVa treatments at this time. Hope this helps. JB

Answer: Thermiva and accutane When contemplating having Thermiva treatment there are a list of medical history questions that are asked prior to your procedure. As far as medications go, we do advise to consult with your physician first if you are on any blood thinning medications. Fortunately, Accutane will not cause any effect to you or the treatment itself.

Answer: Can you get Thermiva treatment while on accutane? Thank you for sharing. There would be no contraindications to you having a THermiVa treatment while you are on Accutane. Contraindications to treatment include implanted electronic devices, local skin infections at the site of treatment, active urinary tract infections, pregnancy, or recent surgery in the area of treatment. Although, Energy based treatments to the face is generally not recommended for patients while taking accutane, there is no concern with having any intravaginal treatment including ThermiVa. If it’s time for your touch-up, you can proceed without concerns. Of course you should discuss this with your provider.
