Hi, I’m Lauren, the aesthetic injector here at Colorado Plastic Surgery Center. ThermiVa is a non-surgical treatment designed to gently tighten both internal and external vaginal tissue using radiofrequency energy. While it can lead to mild improvement in tone and firmness, it's important to know that results have limitations. If you're looking for more noticeable reshaping or correction of asymmetry, a minor surgical procedure like labiaplasty is typically the more precise option. It offers more defined results but does involve some downtime. The best next step is a consultation with a skilled provider, where you can talk through your goals and create a treatment plan that’s just right for you.
Yes, Thermiva does help in tightening the inner and outer parts of the Vagina. Radiofrequency waves penetrate deep down into the layer of skin where collagen is produced. As a response your body will start to naturally increase collagen production which increases blood flow and nerve regeneration. This is what allows everything to begin to tighten over a three months span.
Thanks for your question. Thermiva can tighten the skin. You should see an improvement. Sometimes you need surgery to address the extra skin. You should see your gynecologist to determine the best procedure for you. Good luck.
That’s a great question. Thermiva can tighten skin to some extentbut can’t replace surgery in all circumstances. Thermiva won’tcompletely fix an inch of skin though you may see an improvement. Alabiaplasty would be able to address this. Good luck.
That is a NO. I have had many patient come to me for a second opinion after being promised that Thermiva or any of the lasers help to shrink labias or for that matter tighten vaginas. Laser are not a substitute for surgery. Do not be fooled by marketing efforts promoting vaignal tighting and labiaplasty via lasers.
Thermiva is not a substitute for labiaplasty. It doesn't work. At all. Post a photo to see if either unilateral or bilateral labiaplasty would be best.
Although thermiva can shrink skin of the labiamajora, the inner labia or lips will not shrink to your satisfaction without a surgical labiaplasty
The only clinicians who allude that a "machine" such as ThermiVa or laser will effectively "shrink" your labia are doctors who ARE NOT TRAINED to do the only effective thing (surgical labiaplasty) and will be happy to take your money to help pay their leases on these $100K devices. As P.T. Barnum said many years ago "...there's a sucker born every minute..." Not entirely accurate here, as people put their trust in physicians and unfortunately there are always a few unethical ones who are always ready to take your money...Best wishes,Michel P Goodman, MDDavis, CA, usa
Thank you for your question. Thermiva offers tightening in the area, however it will not shrink the labia drastically. It would be best to set up a consultation with a trusted provider. Best of luck!
ThermiVa can reduce the redundant skin on the outer labia, or labia majora, to some degree but it will not shrink the inner labia nor will it even it out. If the difference is subtle then you my not need to do anything about it but if it is significant enough to you then a simple labiaplasty can help to even it out.
