Is there any way to fix splayed breasts? (photo)

Question

Is there a fix for splayed breasts w/nipples pointing down+out? My chest shape is very rounded (vs. more common oval), my breasts are tall, and more full on the outside than inside. I might have slightly tuberous breasts? My volume is currently ~ 30E (equals small 34D if my rib cage wasn't as tiny) w/ the smaller breast being almost full cup size smaller. I'm not interested in getting implants. Is there was a way to make my breast look their size, as they do look small without the support a bra.

Although I can only offer general information based on your photos, it appears that you might have a slight variation of tuberous breasts, being deficient in breast volume below the nipples.  Based on your concerns, placement of a breast implant behind your breast and pectoral muscle (breast augmentation) and rearrangement of your breast tissue, combined with some skin tailoring to move the nipples, would probably create a more symmetrical, rounded breast, with more upper pole fullness.  This could be performed through an incision around the areola, where the scar is camouflaged by the skin color transition at the areola border.

Yes,
you are an excellent candidate for a new technique called The Mini Ultimate
Breast LiftTM.  Using only a
circumareola incision it is possible to reshape your breast tissue creating
upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to
increase your cleavage.  This will
decrease the splayed appearance of your breasts and reposition your nipples
anterior instead of down and out.  Since
you are already a size D or E, you do not need enlargement unless you want to
change the volume of the smaller breast to match.  The other alternative would be to reduce the
larger one.  Enlargement can be done with
fat transfer since you are not interested in implants.  This technique avoids the ugly vertical scars
of the traditional technique, maintains nipple sensation and the ability to

Thank you for your question. You do not exhibit classic signs of a tuberous breast deformity - elevated fold, herniated breast tissue through widened areolas, or extreme lack of lower pole tissue. In fact, your breasts appear to be normally developed. The majority of breast tissue typically sits in the lower, outer portion of the breast. I would caution you against any "lift" regardless of the marketing name it's given. If you are interested in improved volume in the central portion of the breast or the lower pole without implants, fat transfer may be an option. Moving the nipples centrally does not work well and cannot be done with implants. The bottom line is that you have natural, normal appearing breasts.

are not improved with augmentation... as moving the nipples would require mastopexy scars and its simply not worth it if you don't need a real lift.  Focus on the benefits of your size and don't look back.

NO! This is the anatomic/genetic chest wall you inherited. As they say, "My gene pool is a b___h!" Sorry for your genetics... But the increase in volume could improve the "splayed" appearance.

Although you nipples and areolae are slightly more widely separated than average, this is not a tuberous breast situation. SInce you are not interested in implants, the other way of enlarging breasts is with fat grafting. You would need an ample supply of fat to increase by a cup size, and I can't tell from these photos. A visit to a plastic surgeon will be the way to review your options. All the best.

It is somewhat difficult to see from the photos provided, however there is no evidence on your pictures of a tuberous breast deformity.  If you are interested in filling out the medial (part closer to the center of your chest, cleavage area) and upper portion of the breasts, without implants, then fat grafting will be a good option.  I perform fat grafting procedures in my surgery center very frequently and there are a variety of techniques that can be utilized for breast / body fat grafting.  Best to seek out a consultation to better discuss your desired result to help you determine what is the best procedure for you.  good luck.

You don't appear to have a tuberous breast deformity at all.  Please look at the BRAVA website for a good alternative to get the result you are looking for your breasts.Fat grafting is a valuable tool in breast surgery.  This technique has gained more popularity
over the past 7 years.  There are many
techniques used to harvest the fat, process the fat and then re-inject the fat.
Conventional suction lipectomy is performed with a small diameter cannula,
processed by separating the liquid and fibrous tissue from the fat, and then
placed into syringes for re-injection or through a closed system.
