What's the shape of my boobs? Will Breast Implants change their shape? (photo)

Implants are simply designed to add volume to the breasts.  What your breasts look like now should be what they look like after everything has settled, only fuller.

Thank you for your question. I agree with the colleagues that you have an excellent shape of breast and therefore the only effect of an implant will be to enhance the size. Your breast shape appears completely natural and normal, though it does look like the right breast (left if this is a mirror photo) may be larger.Round implants should enhance the volume without changing the overall shape. Your surgeon may suggest different   implant volume for each side if there is indeed a size difference.All the best. 

Thank you for your question and picture.  You are beginning with a very nice breast shape that should lead to an excellent result with a breast augmentation.It is important to understand that breast implants DO NOT actually change the shape of the breast.  What the implant will do is 'fill-out' your existing breast and thus enhance the true shape of your breast.  Some of the confusion results from looking at pre-op and post-op pictures. A breast may appear 'deflated,' 'saggy,' elongated or even malformed before breast augmentation.  Afterwards, the breast can appear more rounded, perky and beautifully-shaped.  This is common and represents the implant's ability to fill out your natural breast shape and give you a very beautiful breast appearance.I hope this information is helpful.  Best of luck going forward!

Breast implants are fillers. They only add volume to your breast.  They will not change the shape of your breast.  You have a very nice breast shape, and should have an excellent result from breast augmentation.  Best wishes!
