I am twenty years old and have wrinkles worse than my grandma. It's my biggest insecurity. Do you know what causes them to occur in someone my age? I've had them for as long as I can remember. Also, is there any way to get rid of them forever?
Answer: Swelling at Base of Neck May Indicate Enlarged Thyroid Gland Although the neck wrinkles that are transverse are normal, what concerns me is the fullness of your lower neck which may be abnormal thyroid enlargement (and can also cause the wrinkle above it to appear more prominent). I would recommend seeing your primary care doctor and having some thyroid function tests done.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Neck Lines / Tech Neck / Neck Wrinkles -- Soft Fillers (Belotero) in combination w/ Lasers and Microneedling/PRP "Injecting soft fillers like Belotero in this area can reduce lines, wrinkles and folds as well as improve skin texture with long-term collagen production. Fillers are being used more frequently to contour and lift rather than solely line fill. Of course, fillers are best used in combination with lasers and microneedling with PRP to get the optimal outcome. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to create an individualized treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer"

Answer: Necklift: best way to remove wrinkles hello taylorhauser_3 It's best to begin by consulting with a surgeon in-person to discuss your options. The presence of banding down the front of the #neck, and, amount of excess skin and condition of your skin are among some factors which determine what treatments will best rejuvenate your neck . During your initial examination, your chin will be evaluated along with the neck and jawline. A weak #chin implies a lack of chin support for the skin along the neck line. In younger individuals a chin implant alone is usually all that is needed to improve the appearance of the neck. Subsequently, it will also improve the overall #balance of the face and can create the illusion of a smaller nose. As a stand-alone procedure, chin augmentation can be performed in the office under local #anesthesia. For individuals with signs of #aging in the neck, a chin implant added to one of the recommended procedures above, will provide optimal results. If you are not a candidate at the time of your #consultation, your board certified plastic surgeon can recommend alternatives to address your concern. Consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in #neck lift procedures is important to ensure you are receiving the best advice, care, and surgical experience possible.

Answer: Removing Neck Wrinkles Thanks for your question. At age 20, it's likely that these wrinkles are due to heredity. Unfortunately, there is little that can be done about them. Surgery would be an excessive option, and injectable treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic and fillers yield unreliable results on neck lines. These types of lines are normal in people your age, and I don't believe that you'd benefit from any treatment at this point.

Answer: 20 y/o with neck wrinkles... As reviewed by colleagues, this is not an easy fix and is certainly considered normal. Consider seeing a local plastic surgeon for options and know the risks and then decide if its something that you really need. Unless you had something very fixable, I could not recommend anything based on your photo.
