Hello! I have had three children in four years and now am noticing a very big change in my neck. I am only 36! I feel that this is way too early to be feeling so self conscience already. I only gained a minimal amount of weight with all 3 children. It seems to be skin more than fat. Just excess loose skin. Please help!
Answer: Skin Tightening -- VASER Hi-Definition Liposuction, ThermiRF, Renuvion, Thermage, Ultherapy, Novathreads / Instalift, BodyTite "These are all natural parts of the aging process. What we can do is try preventative treatments or get a neck lift / face lift earlier in the aging process. There are numerous non-surgical options available, and some can be used in combination to get best outcomes, but you would need a consultation with an expert. Some options for skin tightening include: - Thermage radiofrequency to heat the skin, tighten it over time, and prevent the aging process - Ultherapy high-intensity ultrasound to contract the muscle, tighten the face and neck, and prevent the aging process - PDO NovaThreads or InstaLift threads for immediate lifting without surgery and long-term collagen production - Sculptra injections for collagen production to areas of the face and neck with crepey skin or early sagging - BTL Exilis Ultra, Venus Legacy, and Thermi250 for monthly collagen stimulation with facials - ThermiRF, Renuvion (J Plasma), or Inmode BodyTite for internal heating and tightening with or without surgery - Fillers (or facial implants) to contour the jawline and chin to improve the appearance of the neck - Face lift / neck lift with fat grafting and fillers if you need a significant improvement I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer"

Answer: Correction of Sagging Neck with Bands Recommendations to Improve your neck appearance following your prior neck lift depends on your exam - Your plastic surgeon will evaluate you for five main features that will determine your best options for improvement:1.Amount of excess fat (needs lipo or direct removal).2.Presence of Significant Platysmal Banding (requires platysmaplasy/platysmal plication or Botox)3.Amount of excess Skin and condition of your skin. For example younger age, darker skin colors and no large weight loss history means there will be better elasticity and therefore better post surgical contraction. In milder cases if not too much fat is present there will be enough skin shrinkage with just lipo alone. However for moderate and severe skin redundancy a neck lift or lower facelift (e.g.Lite Lift®, MACS and others),is needed with or without lipo for best results. Mild to minimal skin tightening using non surgical means like the Sciton Laser SkinTyte procedure, Ultherapy or Thermage could also be considered.4. Chin deficiency (without adequate chin support your neckline will suffer)5.Presence of prominent Digastric Muscles or Submandibular gland fullness from laxity or enlargement (partial resection usually best solution)In your particular case, your photo demonstrated significant Platysmal Banding so you sill definitely need a platysma plication (also called platysmaplasty)

Answer: Midline neck skin banding firstly botox will certainly help.Your photos look like they are taken with you tensing your platysma muscle - this may be as bad as it looks. How does it look when you relax?Your options include platysmaplasty, platysmotomy or Ultherapy imo.

Answer: Correction of Sagging Neck There are many options available for neck rejuvenation. An in person evaluation would be necessary to see if your issues truly are just secondary to skin laxity, or if a degree of muscle laxity (platysmal laxity) is present as well. From a minimally invasive standpoint, procedures like Ultherapy may correct your issue without surgery. For a more definitive correction, a "Mini Facelift" would help to provide a more powerful solution. I would suggest you follow up with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to evaluate your options. Good Luck
