A tummy tuck is great for tightening the abdominal skin and muscle, but it does not address the mons pubis. A monsplasty is required to reduce fullness in the pubic region. This is often performed at the time of tummy tuck by directly excising fat from this region. An alternative would be aggressive liposuction to this area.The edges of a tummy tuck can also be full or form a "dog ear". The same scar can be used to remove this excess tissue and it can be performed in the office under local anesthesia.The belly button can also be lowered following abdominoplasty, but this would leave a vertical scar at the current belly button location. Follow up with your plastic surgeon and make sure he or she addresses these concerns. A second opinion can also be helpful when revisions are concerned.

There is often a fat pad in the mons pubis area.  I find that liposuction of this area at the time of abdominoplasty helps to reduce the fullness.  You are still fairly early in the healing process.  The swelling seems to improve in the upper abdomen first and slowly improves inferiorly with the mons area being the last area to resolve.  I would give this plenty of time to resolve.  If it persists, liposuction of the area might be beneficial.

and you should discuss this with your surgeon.  Revisions can help with your mons but relocating your belly button is much more challenging as scarring will result from this.  Normal anatomy puts belly buttons at the level of your superior iliac crests (top of your hip bones)...
