Is It Possible to Have the Area Surrounding Your Collarbone Liposuctioned?

Hi, I will be undergoing liposuction of the abs and back in a few months and was wondering if it was possible to have my collarbone added list of areas to be liposuctioned? I would like my clavicle to be slightly more prominent and first heard about this surgery in Asia but I am having a hard time finding information on the procedure in the U.S.

Many patients complain of developing a neck hump and thicker tissue around their collorbone after gaining weight. I have been able to sucessfully liposuction these areas, including the upper chest and the collorbone areas.

	Liposuction of the neck and lower face can also have very dramatic improvement of a person's appearance.

I would say you can suction anywhere but each area has a chance of giving you contour irregularities. I would suggest diet and exercise if you are getting fat around your collar bone - not liposuction

	I would have to examine you to give an educated, full response, but generally, liposuction around bones and especially near the collarbone is not recommended. Safe weight loss through diet and exercise, will help you lose fat around your collarbone. This is not always true of fat deposits on the abdomen and back where liposuction WILL be helpful.
