I have a sunken chest after gyno surgery. Any suggestion?

It's about 2 months after gyno surgery and I've got sunken chest after surgery. Anyways, I want to know If I do some push-up or chest workout would it possible to rebuild my chest to be normal as if nothing had happened ? I'm sorry for my bad English but please help me doctor.

Gynecomastia surgery is designed to remove breast tissue, but excessive removal can leave a sunken depression and in severe cases even abnormal adnerence of the nipple/areola complexes to the underlying pectoralis musculature. When the chest muscles are flexed, this causes an extremely abnormal distortion that is ugly and deforming.In no cases should there have been muscle removal, but "building up" the muscles enough to try to compensate for over-resection is impossible unless you work out 18 hours a day for months to develop the bulk of professional body builders. (Won't happen; plus, the loss of fatty tissue with this kind of bulking up would make the deformity even more pronounced and visible--truly worse.)The first and best way to "fix" this problem is to avoid it in the first place by choosing a surgeon experienced in gyno surgery so that over-resection is not done. But once it happens, as in your case, the only recourse is to perform serial fat grafting sessions to rebuild some bulk and increase smoothness. Please seek help with another surgeon who can perform careful grafting to improve the deformity. Best wishes! Dr. Tholen

It sounds like you are describing a "crater deformity" which is caused by removing too much tissue, it can be corrected with a fat transfer or fat grafting once you are fully healed from the original surgery. Developing your chest muscles will not correct this. Find a plastic surgeon that specializes in gynecomastia surgery. Good luck

Not sure what you meann but I am guessing that you are referring to a crater deformity. This is when the surgeon has removed only the central protion of breast tissue and has not removed enough of the surrounding fatty fibrous tissue. Revision can be done in order to reduce the surrounding area and smooth things out.
