Thank you for your question and I am sorry you didn’t achieve the results you hoped with your procedure. There are some different options for treating the dimpling that was left behind from your lipo procedure. Sculptra is a good choice for cellulite and laxity of the arms. I also use hyper-diluted Radiesse of the arms to produce a good effect. I see in your photo more laxity and skin irregularity than cellulite. These treatments may help alone or in combination with a skin tightening device like Thermage or Ulthera. Make sure you work with a doctor that is experienced and board-certified in all these treatments. This expert should be able to personalize your treatment to your precise needs for the best possible results.
Hi thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear about your bad experience. I do not believe that sculptra would be the best treatment to achieve the results you are looking for. There would be a much better result with diluted Radiesse for a smoothing effect all over. It is best to have an in person consultation with a board certified injector to see how many syringes you would need. I have also seen great results with radiofrequency devices such as Thermismooth. Typically about 6 treatments of Thermismooth are needed in two week intervals. Best of luck!
I am sorry to hear about your poor experience with Smart Lipo. Even though Sculptra can be used to fill such indentations, it is best to use autologous fat grafting which will provide you with permanent and natural results. Make sure you find a plastic surgeon who's well-versed in such procedures. Good luck from New York City
Dear patient, Sculptra is basically ground up suture material that is constituted (mixed) with sterile water and local anesthesia and injected int the desired area. Immediately after the procedure the skin appears plump but this will gradually dissipate over 1 day. What remains is a thin...
Typically MS is not a contraindication for injectables. However, you do need a consultation with a board certified physician in order to determine what is truly best for you case. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. Sculptra can be used to help thinning skin on the arms, but at a different dilution than what we use on the face. You likely don't see much info on this for a few reasons. One, it's an off-label indication. Two, it is an advanced injection technique which many...
I would recommend injecting Sculptra deeply to volumize the cheeks. Multiple sessions will be needed and results will show gradually over 3-6 months. It can last 2-5 years depending on the patient. Injecting too superficially or with improper dilutions can lead to nodules. Make sure you are...
Thank you for your questions. The products themselves are not dangerous to your transplant. However, the medications you might be taking for anti-rejection could alter how you heal from the injections. You would need to discuss this with your injector and get a clearance from your medical doctor...
