Is it safe to do microneedling with Sculptra? I believe is like a topical Sculptra that they add during the procedure

This is an interesting question! If I understand correctly you are asking if it is safe to apply sculptra (instead of PRP or hyaluronic acid) to the skin during micro needling of skin. 
Theoretically this makes sense  and this is a smart thought. 
In my opinion it’s best to inject sculptra into deeper layers and do PRP micro needling to top of the skin. One can add ACell, an extra cellular matrix, which promotes stem cell induction and regeneration of top layer of skin. 
Sculptra promotes collagen formation in the connective tissue. It requires aggressive massaging for at least 5 days to make sure results are not “bumpy”. This is because collagen deposits may not be evenly distributed and the massage helps even out the results. 
First problem is that after micro needling the skin will be sensitive in healing stage and frequent massage may be a challenge.  
Secondly bumpy results of sculptra is better tolerated in deeper tissue and camouflaged by epidermis. But micro needling will place sculptra in outermost layer of skin and you don’t want to take the risk of having bumpy skin.  
I would probably try to experiment this on a site other than face first , wait 4 to 6 weeks to see results before starting with face!

      I would recommend spacing these treatments apart. Both treatments are on different planes of tissue, so they would not interfere with each other. That being said, I would not want to inject a patient after micro needling, since cleansing the skin will be extremely painful and irritating to the treated skin. I would not want to inject Sculptra prior, since the injection site area will then be passed over with the micro needling treatment, potentially introducing bacteria deeper into the tissue. I would recommend at least a week in between these treatments. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your message! Typically PRP (platelet rich plasma) or hyaluronic acid is applied topically to the area where the microneedling being done. I am not familiar with Sculptra being placed on top of the skin as it is typically injected into the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production. If you had Sculptra injections, it would be a good idea to wait until those injection sites heal prior to having microneedling performed. I would recommend a consultation with a provider for further assessment!
