How long do you have to wear a Faja after BBL surgery?

Thank you for your question. It depends on the surgeon you go to. I personally like my patients to wear garments for 3 to 6 months after surgery. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. 

A "faja",  also known as a compression garment, should be worn for approximately four weeks  after a Brazilian butt lift. A good garment after fat injections to the back will have compression at the areas of liposuction and slightly loose around the buttock. #StayBeautiful @RealDrWorldWide

I have my patients where a 1st stage compression garment or "faja" for 4-6 weeks after surgery. If they want to continue compression after that, they can move into a 2nd stage garment. 

Greetings.  I generally recommend wearing the faja (compression garment) for at least 8 weeks after the surgery date. Every surgeon has a different recommendation based on his/her practice. It would be best to discuss this with your surgeon.  Good luck!

Usually for 8 weeks but remember every patient is unique, your doctor recommendations can vary according to your surgical plan.

Each surgeon has a slightly different post op protocol, so check with your surgeon. I recommend wearing the garment for 6-8 weeks after surgery.
