How long should ine walk hunched over for after TT for best scarring results (skin type aside)?

In this case it is best to listen your plastic surgeon because only they know exactly how they did the surgery and how they are able to achieve the best results. If they think you should remain hunched over then they may have a reason behind that. Personally I ask my patients to remain hunched over for at least 2 weeks. After that I allow them to SLOWLY start to straighten. It takes weeks to be able to stand completely straight especially since I try to pull the abdomen pretty tight to make it smooth and flat. That being said, the more tension or pull on an incision the wider it can become. Hope this helps!Ankur Mehta MD

Thanks for your question! In my experience of doing over one thousand tummy tuck surgeries, I don't think that you have to walk hunched over for weeks; I think that'll just hurt your back! My patients can usually walk erect after 4-5 days; I think that's plenty. 
The technique of closing your incision, mixed with good scar care like Biocorneum, should be responsible for your good aesthetic outcome.
