I will be launching my online fitness brand in 2024. I’ve scheduled a consultation for next month, January. I do yoga, HIIT, and circuit training with light weights (45 lbs.) I’m concerned of the recovery time, “bottoming out” and if breast implants would affect my athletic performance. implants migrating out of the pocket during exercising are also a concern. Are these complications most likely to happen to an active person? Should I reconsider surgery due to my lifestyle? 24 Y/O, 32A, 5’6

Answer: Hello Hello, everything you describe are risks that can occur with implants, in active people or people who do not exercise at all, if you want to have a fuller neckline, and feel better about how your clothing brand looks, definitely wear the implants.

Answer: Breast implants in athletes Your lifestyle does not preclude getting breast implants and having a complication free result for years. The most important time is the first three months while the capsule is forming around your implants. During that period, high intensity chest work should be limited. With regards to complications or implant migration, I think a more important factor than lifestyle is implant selection. There is a self-defeating psychology among prospective implant patients to 'go big or go home'. It springs from an erroneous concept that it's a one and done process. It's not. Breast implants will require future surgeries regardless of outcome (but NOT necessarily every ten years). Go get your implants, but don't be greedy.
