I just found out that I need a filling, root canal, and extraction 2.5 weeks before my BBL procedure. Should I reschedule my surgery?
Answer: Dental work before surgery Thank you for your question and congratulations on your upcoming BBL surgery. I would suggest speaking with your PS to see what their protocol is. Each PS will have their own recommendations. I typically don't have a problem with it but to be safe contact your surgeon. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Is it safe to have dental work before a BBL? From your description of the dental work, it appears that all procedures (surgical extractions, filling, root canal) do not have to performed immediately although "need" is undefined. You might consider postponing them until you have recovered from the BBL. I also recommend that you ask your oral surgeon how long you should wait after the dental work to have a BBL. Because oral health is related to your overall health, be sure that your mouth has healed so that you are able to eat a healthy protein diet prior to and after BBL.
