Botox travels perfectly fine. Despite what people think can happen theoretically, it never does in real life. Avoid extremes of temperatures and you will be fine, even ice is not needed. Best, Dr. Emer.
You can travel with reconstituted Botox. Although, the likelihood of decreased potency is evident. Weigh your options. Hope this helps.
Botox is much more resistant to reductions in activity before it is reconstituted. The activity level will drop substantially if pre-mixed and exposed to temperatures above the recommended storage level.
Logistics aside, one cannot practice medicine in a state without a license (that includes Botox injections). If you do, why not have Allergan ship the Botox to your office in that state rather than pre-mixing and carrying it on?
First, I am assuming that you are licensed to practice medicine where you are going to be injecting. I am also assuming that being a licensed physician, that you are purchasing the product legally from Allergan and not on the internet where the product is not really Allegan's Botox. Botox from Allergan, when reconstituted with sterile preserved saline, safely lasts at least 24 hours without any loss of effectiveness. I prefer to keep it cool.
You can bring re-constituted Botox on the plane, however, you must make sure it is kept in a cooler and remember that the potency of the product may go down substantially.
It is not wise to travel with a premixed botox for long periods of time even with an ice pack as it can lose quite a bit of potency.
Botox will have the most efficacy if stored at proper temperatures both before and after it is reconstituted. Putting an ice pack around it or even putting it in a cooler will not maintain a consistent temperature which will decrease the efficacy of the product. Also, make sure you know that by law in order to do anything from one state to another you have to have a medical license in the state you are performing the injections..... Seek in-person treatment with a trained medical professional for appropriate care."
Let your injector know; however, there is no contraindication to have both injections performed on the same day. While both injections can cause "flu-like" symptoms or headaches, there is not much you'll do differently if the source is the Botox or the source is the flu shot. I wish...
I am not sure about the meaning of your question. Yes, you can go to a doctor in Canada and buy/get Botox. Can you as a person buy Botox in Canada ? No, not unless you are a physician.
Botox is great for addressing dimples in the chin and based on your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for this treatment. The chin and peri oral region should only be treated by a skilled expert who has a comprehensive knowledge of the facial anatomy and function. You should trust your...
