Please help me know what to ask for when I consult with a doctor about my nose. I broke it and had a minimally invasive surgery at 9 years old. Then I had a rhinoplasty at 19 (18 years ago). Since then I believe I have suffered another break thanks to getting a weenie dog head straight to the nose.

Answer: Crooked and and asymmetrical and ugly tip Revision rhinoplasty is one of the most difficult procedures to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery, therefore choose your surgeon very wisely based on extensive experience. You have a concave upper lateral cartilage which is going to require a spreader graft and you also have a hanging columella. Important to know how much cartilage is left over on inside the nose for grafting purposes.

Answer: Candidacy for rhinoplasty Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note that the lower third of the nose is displaced from midline. There is significant angled columellar displacement. There is a hanging columella associated with nasal tip droop. The nasal tip is blunted. You appear to be a candidate for a tip rhinoplasty and septoplasty to include septal straightening, correction of the hanging columella and tip droop, and partial nasal tip cartilage resection to add tip definition. Be sure to mention your previous nasal trauma and surgeries to your surgeon. Best wishes...
