I have attached photos of my breast. I want a lift with 425cc implants. The doctor I spoke to said he wanted to do a lollipop lift with implants at the same time. Would it be better to not do it at the same time? Why? I want them fuller with a natural teardrop shape. I know results vary greatly but just trying to get an idea of what I’m looking at. Also, do the scars usually go away or will they mostly be there? Would be paying $10,000 so I want them to look awesome. Advice on implant type?
Answer: Need advice From the photos you appear to be a good candidate for a breast lift with implants. An exam would be needed for the best recommendation but a lollipop lift or anchor lift would be needed based on the photos. The scars you will have are permanent, but they will fade. Some fade so well they are hard to see with time. Typically a lift with implants can safely be performed at the same time. For best results closely follow your surgeon's post operative instructions.

Answer: Breast Lift with Implants Candidate Thanks for your question. From your pictures, you seem to be a good candidate for a breast lift with implants. If you plan to have a lift and get implants, it's best to do it at the same time. Your doctor should provide you with post-op care instructions including scar care so that you get optimal results. I recommend scheduling a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon that has extensive experience with breast procedures and clean credentials. Hope this helps. Answer: Breast lift Dear ReneeCG, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. Answer: Lift Your lift and implants can be done at the same time. However, you might reconsider the size of the implants. Since you have a fair amount of tissue, you might consider going smaller. Staying with a large breast will just cause sagging in the future from the weight stretching your tissue. Plus large implants are heavy. You might even be happy with just the lift.

Answer: Same time is good and under the muscle gives a more natural result After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon' s experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them.
