Zimmer Z Wave Pro: is it effective or not? (Photo)

We trialed this device in our office for aiding massage post cool sculpting. We didn't find it be particularly effective and didn't buy it. I don't think it will hurt you in any way, rather just won't do anything to be too excited about. Just make sure it you pay for something like this that it doesn't cost much nor should you expect much. Best of Luck.

We’ve been using the Zimmer Z-Wave radial pulsed therapy massage after CoolSculpting in our center for several years now and we’ve been very impressed with how this combination improves ultimate results. We’re now able to remove up to 35% of fat in a single treatment session, thanks to the combo.
Zimmer Z Wave also makes the CoolSculpting results more uniform. CoolSculpting itself has some skin-tightening effects. If you needed more, I’d recommend Ultherapy. As for cellulite, Cellfina is the best choice for that. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who offers a variety of effective therapies so a treatment plan can be tailored just for you. 

Zimmer zwave is effective for soft tissue pain such plantar fasciitis and muscle sprain. Zimmer zwave is a radio shock wave technology that can be used for tightening of cellulites and treatment of capsular contractions in patients who have had breast implants. Additionally, its effective for treating erection dysfunction in men and sexual dysfunction in females. In combination with hormones, this treatment is powerful for intimacy issues.

Thank you for your question and posting your picture. We have been using Z Wave for a number of years as an adjunctive treatment for cellulite, post liposuction and with Vanquish Me. With the addition of Coolsculpting, we are now using it immediately following the Coolsculpting procedure. There are reports of up to a 50% improvement in fat cell reduction at 30 days when Z Wave is added to Coolsculpting and Vanquish Me. As for the effects on Cellulite and stretch marks, these improvements are generally temporary. The best longterm treatment for cellulite is Cellfina. I find that RF micro-needling is the best treatment for stretch marks.I hope this is helpful - Dr Moore.

We have used Z-Wave for post Coolsculpting massage very effectively.  We have also used it for cellulite reduction and found that although it might improve the cellulite in the treated areas initially, it doesn't last unless treatments are continued. 

While I don not offer the Z Wave at my practice, the device is indicated for improving cellulite, skin tightening, and stretch marks. The company is marketing it as a combination therapy to be used alongside CoolSculpting for an added benefit. I would recommend doing more online research to find out the success patients are having with it. Perhaps in the Real Self forum you may find some patient feedback. Best of Luck!

Yo my knowledge, this is used for post cool sculpting massage and can also be used for cellulite- may or may not provide any long term effects - 

Z-wave is a great treatment modality to aid in the coolsculpt results. It does not help tighten skin and does not treat stretch marks. Treatments that are known to help treat stretch marks would be microneedling with PRP. To tighten skin, Ultherapy, SkinTight or radio frequency treatments can be used.
