Can my uneven lips with lip fillers be more even? (Photo)

Question

I've noticed that while I do have good sized lips. The middle being more big than the sides . It tends to look uneven .I've been thinking about this for a good while and would like a second opinion.hopefully the photos below will help.

Hello and thank you for your question.  From your photos, it looks like you would be a great candidate for fillers.  With the help of hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Juvederm or Restylane, you can easily achieve symmetry to your lips.  Make sure to find an experienced injector that will give you the natural results you are looking for.  Best of luck!

You should start out with 1cc of juvederm filler or restylane filler and go from there. You do not want to overdo too much filler in the lips. It also depends on the look you are going for too. You can always add more filler to the lips if needed. Just remember if you are going to do your lips and you do not want to bruise you should not take any aspirins or anything that will thin the blood since brusing can occur. One syringe is typically $600

Hi there and thanks for your question and photos!  You have some asymmetry of your upper lip that can easily be corrected using a lip filler.  Filler injections are a quick, easy way to give fullness and balance to the lips and face.  I also recommend putting some filler in your chin to give some more projection. itsallgood101. Your asymmetry is mild and mostly noticeable when your smile. For this reason, I recommend correction with a filler like Juvederm Ultra plus by an experienced injector very conservatively because over correction will cause another asymmetry. If you like the result, then you can consider fat transfer for a longer lasting result. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist with lots of experience treating lips. Good luck!

Dear itsallgood101,I typically use Juvederm for my lip sculpting. There are two main focuses of lip injections, adding volume and actually sculpting the shape. Both involve injecting the filler in different areas of the lips and patterns.

Lip augmentations with fillers is a great option to improve the fullness, suppleness and symmetry of the lips. Results can be very natural-looking and will feel very natural. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising. Look for a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is an expert in fillers to discuss your desired results and concerns.

Yes, dermal fillers injected into the lips can even out any asymmetry you may have.  I do recommend that you have lip injections performed by a board-certified, experienced fascial plastic surgeon who is knowledgeable about dermal fillers.
