How often can Exilis be done on the abdomen? And how many treatments are recommended?

I have had 4 Exilis treatments about 2 months ago, I do feel like I had some skin tightening effect. However I am considering doing 4 more, because I have read on RealSelf that 6-8 treatments are recommended for optimal results? Is this correct? Also I was told I could only have an Exillis treatment once every 2 weeks, but I've read where most have one done weekly? Can you please clear this up for me before i go back in and commit to more treatments!? Thanks!

Thank you for your question in regards to Exilis. Protocol can vary between offices, but typically 6 treatments are recommended, once every 7-10 days for best results. It is also important that the proper temperature is being reached during each treatment to achieve your desired outcome. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Hello and thank you for your question! Optimal results are often seen with 4-6 treatments. Typically for skin tightening, treatments are 3-6 weeks apart and for fat melting 1-2 weeks apart. If you are treating both, we recommend treatments every 2 weeks. Best of luck to you!

Firstly, great news that you have experience good results with Exilis Elite.
We have been using Exilis for three years and find we get optimal results between 6-8 treatments for most patients. Your practitioner will advise you on the best course as no two patients are the same. Over the last three years protocol guidelines have changed as we have gained more experience with results. I would recommend treatments at 7 days and for a quicker results we can double treat in one session to speed up the process. Exilis Elite is a wonderful treatment and we have great results for skin tightening and fat reduction so I would definitely advise you to carry on with treatments.

Usually 4-5 treatment a week apart are enough and results improve over 2-3 months. You have waited couple of months and seen some skin tightening, so I think you would benefit with additional treatments.

Hi Huricain,Thanks for your question.  Treatments for the body are typically recommended in a series of 6 spaced 10-14 days apart. Many clinics are treating at weekly intervals and that is ok too. Hydration is very important to maximize the efficacy of your treatment and, above all, technique is key to success. This means reaching target temperatures, maintaining them for the time necessary to stimulate changes in your body. Since the process (rearrangement of collagen) does take up to three months you could decide to wait or do another series since your initial one consisted of 4 sessions. There is no set time interval for exillis treatments but the standard is 10-14 days apart. There is likely no downside to weekly sessions provided you don't have any unexpected results like bruising or burning.  I find the number of sessions in a patient with good hydration is 5 however if after a time out of several months repeat sessions would not be harmful. There is an expert in Nashville ( I believe) Dr Kalick in exillis so you may be best served to see him.
