Exilis or RF on the forehead for an outer brow lift?

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

         There are several options to achieve an outer brow lift. Botox is the easiest, quickest, and cheapest option. By relaxing certain muscles we can cause the forehead muscle to lift the outer brow, creating a lift. This typically takes affect in 2 weeks and will need to be repeated every several months. The other two options are Exilis Ultra and Ultherapy. Both of these options stimulate collagen and elastin to lift and tighten the deep tissues, creating an opening affect on the eye. These will take 6-9 months to take full affect, and will need to be maintained. Hope this helps.

Hi Victoria, Thank you for your question. For best results a series of 4-6 Exilis Ultra Treatments spaced 10-14 days apart. This method uses Radio Frequency and Ultrasound energy to stimulate your bodies own natural collagen. Exilis Ultra can be used above the brow and around the eyes to give a brow lift and open the eyes up, to give a more awake appearance.  After the series is completed patients will start noticing results in 3-6 months. Exilis ultra combines radio frequency and ultrasound to tighten skin. You may see immediate lifting of eyebrows and decrease in laxity of treated area. Typically 4 treatments a week apart are recommended. Exilis stimulates collagen production so results gradually improve over 3 months.
