3 weeks post op Asian nose job. Will it be pointy and grow a longer as time goes by?

Swelling of the tip of the nose 3 weeks after rhinoplasty is expected and completely normal.  While your profile should begin to look good at 3-4 weeks after surgery, the majority of the tip edema (swelling) will not resolve for 3-6 months.  At that point you will be able to tell whether or not the initial surgery provided enough tip support and refinement to achieve the results you were hoping for.

For the nose, it's way to early to judge. Photos at this stage can give some sense of where things may end up, but no intervention is possible this early. You'll need to wait it out, share your concerns with your doctor, and stay patient. Good luck!

It takes at least a year to recover from rhinoplasty. At this point, there is swelling and you are not seeing your final result. Please be patient and give yourself time to heal.

It is typical for the tip to appear round and big at this early stage. Allow time for the swelling to diminish in the nasal tip (which can take up to 12 months) to fully assess the result. It can be hard to be patient but trust your surgeon to guide you through the recovery.

Each person recovers differently from Asian rhinoplasty. Subtle changes and
definition of the nose continue to develop over the next several months as the
nose heals and settles. Your nose may look puffy to you for 3 to 4 months
post-operation, but normal to everyone else. Depending on how much the nose has
been altered, it can take up to one year to achieve complete healing.
