Dear doctors ; What is the treatment for weaknes after botox palm injection ? What we can do ?
Answer: Weakness in hand following Botox I am assuming that you had Botox to treat hyperhydrosis in the hands. Weakness of the muscles can occur, obviously. Sadly, not much you can do but wait it out. It will resolve as the Botox wears off. This could be in as little as 10 days or it could take longer. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this.

Answer: Weakness in hands after palmar Botox Hi there, I will presume that you have had injections to your palms for the purposes of controlling excess sweating, or hyperhidrosis, in your hands. Weakness in the hands after a procedure such as this can occur, and is related to the effect of the toxin on the intrinsic muscles of the hands which perform fine motor functions. Toxin treatment of the hands should always be exercised with caution in those who use their hands for their job, as this can be affected. As the effect is already present, however, the extent and duration will vary depending on the number of units used and how profound the weakness is. The less the number of units used, the more likely it is that the effects will be transient. Hands are used on a daily basis, and use of the muscles will gradually bring back the function fully. Toxins wear off over time, and this is not something that will stay long term - please be reassured. However, I would advise your treating physician of the incident in order to allow them to document it and consult with you to advise you further. Hop this helps! Best, MJ x

Answer: Botox and hyperhydrosis weakness of some muscles of the hand can occur after treatment using BOTOX for hyperhidrosis. Whatever happens already happened, but I would still go see your treating physician and let them be aware of your situation. The weakness will eventually go away but it may take weeks to months. Good luck from New York City

Answer: Palmar Hyperhidrosis Botox into the sweatglands of the palm and fingers can drift deeper into the muscle tissues. It will take time to improve. Smaller doses in the hand such as 50 units will recover faster. 100 or 105 units could take longer. Not all the Botox went into the muscles, only a small amount drifted there.Botox maxes at two weeks and then improves.
