Hello! So I am 27 and have a lot of filler and had one thread lift. I had my fillers dissolved with possibly of radiesse being left. My tissues were severely deflated so I had a minimal fat transfer for the stem cells. The doctor noticed my skin underneath was hard and said it might be do to scar tissue(,. Is there a surgeon who would take this out without a facelift? It was compared to someone who gets breast implant formulation on my cheeks. Thanks!how much does this run for?$$
Answer: No You can't really safely go in to remove scar tissue without creating more scar tissue. Essentially anytime you have injury to tissue, your body will try to fight it by creating scar, which is why you got it from your filler/threads and why even cutting into the area also puts you at risk of creating more scar tissue. Now sometimes, if you really have too much scar tissue, one can try to cut in to remove it and then aggressively manage you postop with injections of steroids and such to decrease your scarring but you will never be able to completely remove scar.

Answer: Thick deep scar after filler injection, treads I am not sure that I completely understand the issue. We do see more and more deep scars in subcutaneous tissue, muscles and close to skin surface when performing face lifts and blepharoplasty in patients like you. This is very likely reaction to filler components and treads by means of fibrosis and scar formation. Considering your particular problem my recommendation would be to seek an in-person or, at least, teleconference with a board certified plastic surgeon familiar with this problem. Hope this helps.

Answer: Be kind to your face We live in an ever evolving world of technology and injectables. Some have been good and some not so good. Many of the "non-invasive" procedures create scar tissue. I would not recommend trying to remove scar tissue. Any time you "injur" the body, it creates scar. At 27 years old, I'm sure you are a long way from needing a facelift, but during facelift surgery, we frequently encounter scarring, particularly when patients have used Sculptra and radiesse but its still not anything that needs to be cut out. I wouldn't stress too much about the doctor's comment. Nothing to do at this time and it will likely improve with time.
