I am 36 yr old, breast fed one child and done having children. 5’7” and 125 lbs. boobs have obviously sagged post pregnancy and I’m a small B cup. I have had 2 consults with board certified PS. One said full anchor lift, one said donut and the last said no lift now- maybe in 10 plus years when I need to replace.

Answer: Breast augmentation Hi. While it is difficult to give you a definitive answer without a complete examination, it appears from your photos that you have glandular ptosis (the nipple is in a normal position but breast tissue sags below the breast fold). This can often be corrected by adjustment of the pectoralis muscle during the dissection without the need for a lift. I hope this helps.

Answer: Breast lift Dear caitlw26, determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.
