I had surgery 2 weeks ago to remove a sebaceous cyst on my buttock. The wound was closed with dissolvable stitches under the skin and some sort of glue on the outside. The wound healed very nicely and at my follow up appointment last week, the doctor said it looked really good. A few days later, I can feel a hard lump in the incision area and it is a bit swollen. No pain but a little bit of redness. My doctor did mention that there will be some swelling because the stitches are still dissolving.
