Is this just swelling from dissolvable stitches or is it a cyst/abscess? (Photos)

Your incision does not look infected. The hardness and swelling can be either scar tissue, or depending on the size of the cyst that was removed you may have a small collection of fluid called a seroma. I recommend following up with your surgeon for an in-person examination. Best wishes.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Unfortunately without an in-person examination it is difficult to offer definite advice but it appears that your incision is not infected and most likely the thickness felt is the development of scar tissue.  This should improve given sufficient time.  hang in there and maintain close follow up with your surgeon to ensure an uncomplicated recovery.
