A board certified PS would be the best choice for this procedure, consult carefully and best of luck to you!
Thank you for your question. Finding the proper surgeon is critical to the success of your liposuction. You need to find a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who specializes in cosmetic body procedures. The ASPS website will provide a list of properly trained surgeons in your area. You should go on several consultations and see which surgeon you like best. Ask to see a lot of before and after pictures of their work. Hope this helps.
Your body may not be able to get that type of look and you don't have much fat to transfer. I suggest you see a VASER contouring expert that will give you a natural improvement that is athletic. And in person consultaiton is needed. Best, Dr. Emer.
In person exam is always essential. Be sure that your Surgeon is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of American Society of Plastic Surgery. From your photos it appears that you would benefit from an Abodminoplasty- to remove both excess skin and fat.
Thank you for your question.I like to use ultrasonic assisted liposuction (I've lectured on the technique nationally and internationally) with the SAFE technique. This "melts" the fat. The fat comes out with very little blood. It looks like a banana smoothie. When performing this technique bleeding is minimal, more fat is removed and one obtains a smoother result versus traditional techniques. For more information please watch the enclosed video. I hope you find this information useful.
Hi, thanks for sharing your concern and photos with us! First I want to congratulate you for making this important decision. Deciding to get an aesthetic procedure to change your body and get a new life style is a big step! Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get an entire abdomen, back, back and waist liposuction with BBL, this is because you have located fat that can be done with lipo. Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. For us your safety, always, is going to be first. Have a great day! Dr. JPG
Thank you for the important question; careful selection of plastic surgeon will be the most important decision you make. It will also be important that you make sure that you are a good candidate for liposuction surgery alone. The best candidates for liposuction surgery of the abdominal wall are patients with good quality skin elasticity and a moderate degree of diet and exercise resistant adipose tissue superficial to the abdominal wall muscle layer. Patients who are significantly overweight, have significant abdominal wall laxity, and/or have lost a significant amount of skin elasticity are not generally good candidates. Although I cannot provide you with specific names, I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. ***Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done. Basically, patients should look at the overall "quality" of the outcomes achieved; in other words, it will be important that patients see lots of examples of outcomes that they would be pleased with. In doing so patients will be able to get an idea of each plastic surgeon's "aesthetic sensibilities". Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Best wishes.
Thank you very much for your question and photographs. At three months’ post-op, it is still too early to assess the full benefits of your liposuction procedure. It will take up to six months for residual swelling to resolve and the tissues fully heal. However, if you have any further q...
The surgical procedure of liposculpture, may or may not be associated with technology. Many times the characteristics of these lumps under the skin or retractions are secondary to a conventional fat extraction technique. We handle fat from the use of laser technology, which is light,...
Thank you for your question. Liposuction is also known as Body sculpting. There are different types of liposuction. As an artist I like to use ultrasonic assisted liposuction and the SAFE technique. I was one of the pioneers performing this type of liposuction. I've lectured nationally...
