Hello, maripoza1773. It is quite common to experience swelling of both the legs and ankles following extensive liposuction and surgery. If both your legs and ankles are swollen, it is usually nothing to worry about; however, if the swelling is one-sided, I advise that you call your clinic and explain your symptoms to them as it can be a sign of a blood clot, which is a medical emergency. I would also advise that you speak to your clinic regarding your compression wear, as they will have provided you with the best fit. Wearing a different size to the one provided may also affect your post-operative swelling.
