Does an underbite cause minimal improvement of a facelift?

I had a facelift done over a year ago. Only minimal results. Was told by many other Dr. Is it my underbite that caused minimal results. Dr said he would do a tuck. But was told need to have the muscle redone.

A revision neck surgery like platysmaplasty, excision of sub platysmal fat and possible partial digastric muscle excision will help. It will help with the jawline definition as well. Regards Dr. J

All of these are excellent reasons to undergo a revision facelift. The best way to treat the pixie ear deformity is to lift the deeper tissues and alleviate the tension on the ear lobule/face skin interface. I would also re-excise those scars behind the ear and re-close them without any tension....

Pixie ear deformity is due to excessive tension on the skin at the time of closure. The best way to fix this is a revision facelift. This will permit recruitment of the extra skin/tissue laxity by lifting and tightening the deeper tissues while alleviating the tension on the skin closure.
