I am 25 have been struggling with a double chin for quite some time, I started my adventures in cosmetic treatments when I turned 23 in an attempt to get rid of it. I am not fat by any means and do not have any thyroid issues. I have had lipo, kybella, miso therapy, Lazer treatments and nothing has seemed to work. I am very frustrated that I have waisted so much time and money only to have little to no results.
Answer: Chin Liposuction and Thermitight Chin liposuction helps reduce the bulge under the chin and can be done for the whole neck. Once the fat is removed the skin can become loose and saggy in some cases. It can be avoided by combining it with Thermitight which is a radiofrequency heat delivered under the skin to tighten it. Both chin liposuction and Thermitight can be done at the same time. The recovery is fast and it can be done under local anesthesia. Click on the video link below Regards Dr. J

Answer: Treatment for a double chin? Here's what you need to know Thank you for your question. The picture you posted doesn’t give a good view of your submental area, so it is impossible to tell what might benefit you. As some of the other doctors have noted, your issue may be with submental fat under the platysmal muscle, which can only be corrected with surgery. With that being said, a true diagnosis can only be achieved with an in-person consultation. I recommend scheduling one with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who will examine you and go over the history of procedures you’ve received. With that information, a surgeon can provide you with options that will give you the results you desire. Best of luck!

Answer: Submental fullness in young patients Hi Jallard1- I am sorry you are so frustrated. Your photo is small and your neck obscured, so difficult to give you comprehensive answers in this forum. However, you DO have options. The fact that you have had this for so long, and at a young age, points to the likely hood that you have submental fat and other tissues that are BELOW or UNDERNEATH the platysma muscle of the neck. Every treatment you mentioned undergoing will only safely treat fat that is superficial to the platysma and not underneath it. Now, you will likely have the added factor of scar tissue development underneath the skin. A "deep neck lift" is likely the answer. You will need to visit with a surgeon experienced in this area/technique. This can be done with a small incision below the chin and without any skin removal. Best wishes.

Answer: Double chin Unfortunately your photos doesn't show the problem at all. Typically in your age group lipo of the neck is the way to go. Maybe your lipo was too conservative and you need it again

Answer: Neck lift Thank you for your question. This is a very common concern and the region can be difficult to treat. The best treatment depends on the patient and individual goals, but if you've already tried the above modalities, a neck lift may be the best option to get the result you're aiming for. Incisions hide well, and the downtime is usually a few days due to swelling. This is obviously the most aggressive treatment, but it also has the best chance of success.
