In person evaluation and examination is the best distinguishing factor here. Based on your photographs, it looks like width is from your masseter muscles rather than from your buccal fat pad, but palpation is the way to confirm this.
Thank you for your question and photos. Buccal fat removal or Botox injections are both viable options for reducing fullness in the lower third portion of the face. Injecting Botox into the masseter muscle reduces its size and provides a slimming effect that can last for 3-4 months. During a buccal lipectomy, the buccal fat pad is removed to reduce fullness in the area between the cheek and jawline and create a more defined and contoured appearance. Buccal fat tissue is not regrown, so the results of this procedure are permanent. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon or expert injector. They will be able to analyze your concern and determine which treatment option may be best to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
It is very difficult to give you good advise based on these photos. It seems that injection of masseter muscles would help to improve square look of your lower face. It is impoossible to say whether removal of buccal fat pads would be of any benefit without in person evaluation. Good luck.
Good Afternoon! I see what you're talking about. Buccal fat remove can help to remove some of the fullness within the cheeks. The results are subtle which is important to keep in mind. I often tell patients to expect more slimming and slight shadowing from the cheek bone to the jawline. Masseter Botox can help if you're full at the angles of the jaw. Sometimes it's genetic, other times it's related to teeth grinding at night. I would seek consultation with a facial plastic surgeon to learn more. Hope this helps!

It is one of the things that may not improve with BFR. With a lot of people if you push that fat out as you are doing BFR it will slim it down, but not easy to get in some people. Looking at your chin, you may want to think about a genioplasty or chin implant to stretch that perioral soft tissue...
Thank you for your question and photos. A buccal lipectomy, or buccal fat pad removal, is an ideal procedure for improving cheek and jawline definition while reducing a rounded appearance in the lower part of the face. Since buccal fat tissue is not regrown, even with weight gain, the results of...
