Hi @tracikitty! I recommend starting with 1 syringe of filler. Always seek treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
The amount of Restylane needed completely depends on the patient's anatomy. Different facial structure can make it easier or harder to fill the unwanted lines and depressions. In my experience, a patient usually needs between .5 to 1.0 syringe per visit. This is an unforgiving area as there is thin skin overlying. I never overfill and would rather do touch ups after a couple weeks to get the best appearance I can. See a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon for best results with your injections.
The amount of filler needed is variable and individualized. I suggest a formal consultation and find someone who injects with cannulas to limit complications. Best, Dr. Emer.
For the tear trough area, usually 0.5 to 1cc filler is enough to fill out but it can be up to 1.5cc or a bit more. It all depends on the anatomy. See an oculoplastic specialist.
usually one is more than enough! it is important to prevent bumping. Afshin Farzadmehr
I do not see any pictures to answer you with accuracy. However in most patients it takes two syringes or restyle or better yet prelude to restore the nano-labial folds. You must know that the results of these injectable fillers are surgeon dependent but also dose dependent. This means that if you need two but only get one you may be satisfied or you may not. But even one syringe will be an obvious improvement.
Hi Traci. We would need a picture to make a recommendation. We use between 1 - 2 CC's of Restylane normally.
The amount of Restylane required for tear troughs is dependent upon the patient's anatomy. One half to one syringe is the average amount required.
I suggest that you seek a consultation with a BoardCertified Facial Plastic Surgeon to discuss under eye rejuvenationoptions. Dermal filler in the teartroughs is a specialized injection that should only be performed by an advancedinjector. Restylane can be a fantastic option for this area and the typicalpatient uses 0.5 to 1.0cc syringe of filler. Your physician may also discuss the use of filler in other complimentingareas, such as the cheeks, to improve your overall facial balance. Best of luckand make sure to do your research!
It would be hard to say how much Restylane is needed without seeing a photo of you. That said, I usually recommend 1-2ccs of Restylane into the tear troughs for most patients.
For a larger structured lip try a filler with more substance like Perlane or Juvederm Ultra Plus. I suggest cannula injections to limit complications. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. Most patients will be treated with 1 syringe of restylene or juvaderm ultra for both eyes. You will not have excess skin after the product resorbs. Their always risks with any procedure. Make sure you go to an expert with much experience in tear trough...
Hi @Petrinabella! Restylane and Belotero work great for the tear troughs. I prefer a cannula since there are less chances of vascular occlusion and less bruising. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Cost will depend on a number of factors - the exact Restylane product used, the amount required to achieve your desired appearance, medical doctor versus spa injector, and the area of the country you are in. Though cost plays a role in all dec...
Thanks for this questionThis is a difficult area to treat. I would not use any fillers in this area. You could consider Thermage, however the benefit is not guaranteed.
