I’m really interested in getting this procedure, not only do I want a great butt but I also want a great body as well. My desired look is athletic and toned. So can I start my work out programme and get an athletic body before the procedure or is it best to do this after the procedure? As I’m worried that it would effect my BBL results?

Answer: Should I work out and get my desired gym body before my BBL procedure or after? For most patients, the improvement in physique that can be made in 2 hours in the operating room cannot be achieved with diet and exercise. Keeping fit is good before the surgery. As long as you have enough body fat for the surgery, then working out can only help you. For most patients strenuous activity can be resumed 6 weeks post op. Squats and lunges after BBL will increase muscle bulk and definition, which is probably a good thing if you are looking to achieve a more projected, lifted buttock. However, just make sure that the body fat percentage is held in check or you will lose some of the fat.

It is best to undergo plastic surgery when you are at your goal weight and/or fitness level. You want to have a maintainable program in place that gets you to your goal and keeps you there for at least 3 months if possible. This allows the surgeon to tailor your procedure and results to your ideal frame. It will also help you maintain those killer results after the fact. Whatever you do, no crash dieting or overexercising before surgery. You want to be tanked up as far as nutrition to recover as efficiently as possible.
